Layered guitars, synths like branches in a forest, saveyourtears brings a yearning. Floating on top of machine percussion and forward moving basslines.
In this border crossing EP, LUARR complements on his post-punk discography, bringing in New and Dark Wave, blended with contemporary sounds.
LUARR’s saveyourtears is one of the first tape releases proudly available in the Sparki Tape Store. It is also the artist’s first release to physical media. In line with his discontent with the current way the music streaming industry treats artists, the tape features two exclusive tracks, not available anywhere online. In his own words “To de saco cheio do Spotify”.
A personal highlight of mine is the enchanting photography of the inner J-Card, a continuation of the (fever) dreamy imagery of his latest videoclips of saveryourtears and smth/hooked. A perfect accompaniments to this coming winter’s moodiness.
Inner J-Card of saveyourtears.
The tape is available NOW in a limited run of 5 units in our tape store. Get yours now or regret it later!
